BetComply and eyeDP join forces for the Dutch market

BetComply, News

We’re always looking at ways we can make compliance simpler and more efficient for the operators we work with, particularly in complex regulated markets like the Netherlands.

That’s why we’ve signed a letter of intent with eyeDP to develop a new joint proposition specifically for the Dutch iGaming market.

The collaboration will bring together BetComply’s regulatory and technical compliance expertise with eyeDP’s AI-powered document verification and intelligent automation technology.

What are we working on?

The first stage will see our teams work together on a new solution designed to support Dutch operators across their compliance processes.

This will then develop into a full white label suite of eyeDP products that BetComply will be able to provide directly to our clients, alongside the regulatory and technical compliance support we already deliver.

For us, this is about adding technology where it can make a genuine difference.

Dutch operators deal with significant amounts of customer information and documentation as part of their compliance obligations. Reviewing that information can be time-consuming, particularly when relevant details sit across multiple documents and data points.

eyeDP’s technology can verify and cross-reference multiple documents, helping identify inconsistencies and bring fragmented information together into a clearer overall picture.

That gives compliance teams better information to work with and helps make the process more efficient.

Technology supporting people, not replacing them

This was an important part of the decision to work together.

Automation can make compliance processes faster and more efficient, but that shouldn’t mean removing people from important decisions.

eyeDP’s approach is built around providing clearer information and actionable insights while maintaining human oversight. That fits closely with how we believe technology should be used within compliance.

The result is intended to be a more joined-up approach where technology does more of the heavy lifting, while compliance teams remain firmly in control of the decisions they make.

Building on our work in the Netherlands

The Netherlands is already an important market for BetComply.

Our team works with operators and suppliers across a wide range of regulatory and technical compliance requirements, giving us first-hand experience of both the demands of the market and the practical challenges compliance teams face.

Adding eyeDP’s technology to that expertise gives us another way to help clients manage those challenges.

Iliana Lazarova, Head of Account Management at BetComply, said:

“Working with eyeDP gives us the opportunity to add another layer to the support we already provide in the Netherlands.

“We can combine the regulatory and technical expertise of our team with technology that helps operators review information more efficiently, identify potential issues and make better-informed decisions.

“What particularly appealed to us about eyeDP is the focus on using automation to support people rather than replace them. Human oversight remains incredibly important in compliance, so there is a strong alignment between the two businesses.”

Warren Russell, CEO at eyeDP, added:

“BetComply has significant experience helping operators navigate regulatory requirements in the Netherlands, and combining that expertise with our intelligent document verification technology creates a strong proposition.

“Together, we want to give operators a more joined-up way of handling complex compliance processes, providing better information and greater efficiency while keeping people firmly in control of the decisions that matter.”

What happens next?

Our teams are now working on the first stage of the Dutch proposition, with more details to follow as the project develops.
